Not that I've seen, but I'm gullible enough to be afraid of it anyway.

Trying to get parking at 1pm isn't impossible, just ensure you arrive on the hour. At about 1:05 you'll get all these people coming out of their lectures and driving home... which is when you POUNCE!

I am gonna park at macq centre today to get my parking sticker and books.

3 hours is a bit tight and unfair, parking (from what i have exp. at macq centre over the last 2 sems) is no problem at all!

They are only packed at lunch times and the bottom levels are mostly empty before 11. Even on the roof (outside the chinese restaurant), there are plenty of spaces around 10 in the morning.

Looks like now i have to pay to park :( , gone are the days of 10am-9pm parking at macq centre....

Oh btw, i have got 2 morning 9am starts, anyone got an idea on whats parking like 8:30-9?

It's fine. Truly great parking is only accessible from about 7-8 in the morning, but what kind of insane person rocks up at that hour regularly?

First semester, first few weeks; critical mass of parking is between 10:30-11, I think, where you're fucked until around 2pm when it starts to clear out again.

I was reading the message sent out by mac centre (don't ask me where on earth I found it else I'd link you guys) and it said that the parking wasn't designed to target shoppers so if you get a ticket then you can contact them and show them a receipt and you'll get off. Not an everyday option but alright for if you're so late for an important class you just need to park somewhere... pick up $10 of groceries and call it quits. Lol.
