Did you , however, get an offer for the innovative scholarship with the UAC main round offers? Because the terms are...that you are supposed to RECEIVE the actual money a few weeks into the semester (as you described in your case). Hmm i called their undergrad section few days ago. Same lady asked for me student # and then dissapeared for 5min. Gave me a new number to call which was constantly engaged.

penelope, btw what degree do you do ?

nope, must have been few weeks in cos i remember being disappointed at not getting it, with all that uac stuff, and going to uni all grumpy, then getting the letter in the mail and suddenly looking at the world of uni a whole new way........ i'm doing international communications. (yeah and then it was AGES until i actually received anything - maybe i was a bureauatic fluke tho?!?!) (and i very muchly appreciate ur troubles with the phones at mq btw!!! just wait till u try getting thru to the library help ppl....)

depends on which uni of course....
i'm considering going on exchange some time this year.. hopefully...
you also get approved for a scholarship.

here is a list of the partnerships with other uni's... it should indicate if english is the main language taught there:

best time to do exchange is second year...
and since you're doing accg, there are restrictions on you when you can go on exchange mainly because you need to do all core accg units here at mq for ca/cpa....

Final year is bad.

Second year is preferable.

but for accg.........cores are like in 100 , 200, and 300...so there's no chance to go o/sea...plus which countries are accepted?

oh since your doing a 4 year degree... year 2 or year 3 is fine.

what you have to do is not do any of your accounting units on exchange. so maybe you can do applied finance units equivalent or your electives.

oh and scroll up for a link of the uni's listed...
