"10.3 Computing (BCompSc, BIT, BIS, BeBus, BSc)

Scholarships may be awarded to students undertaking the first year of a Bachelor degree program leading to a major in computing (i.e. BCompSc, BIT, BIS, BeBus, BSc). "

I originally enrolled in Commerce/Science but i dropped comp125 in the 1st sem in favour of the standard comp155(or the 115 equivalent) that all actuaries do 1st year. So essentially i was just doing what any normal actuary would do regardless of their other degree, in the first year (because we all virtually have the same first year).

My question stands: Because i never technically enrolled out of the B Sc, this means next year they will consider i am in my 2nd year of B Sc and hence not possible for me to get this abovementioned scholarship? I will send them an e-mail just wanted to know if anyone else had similar experience.

It just seems a bit lame because if i had been in anything else for my 2nd degree, i would be considered as starting the 1st year of Computing next year I think.

Cheers

They give them out by Division.
Does that mean that next year, I can apply for a law one? I wonder if I'm considered doing law at the moment... I don't think so...

My post was with reference to the (Super) Innovation scholarships
Ah, ok. I haven't got the Super Duper one, anyway. :(

You've been to uni for one year too long.
Nuts.

You've obviously never played The Sims! It's the sign for the currency they use, the simoleon (as well as being the section sign, yes).
Oh yeah, that's right. I remember now.
