Mr Darcy vs John Thornton? (1 Viewer)

Looking at the television adaptations of both North and South and Pride and Prejudice, who do you prefer out of Mr Darcy and Thornton???????? I am a Thornton gal myself.

oh...DARCY ALL THE WAY! i didn't like thornton all that much, but darcy, he just makes you melt in p and p....

I'm torn between the two!!

I do love my Mr. Darcy, but Mr. Thornton is also so very attractive in a scruffy way!!How about both?! I loved both mini-series, even with the changed ending of North and South

THORNTON!! Although, I have to admit, he does become very emotionally taxing after a while (the penetrating gaze = exhausting). However, although Darcy has wealth, prestige etc., he has never truly done a days work in his life -- whereas Thornton worked hard for his position. Could it even be said that Thornton has more moral fibre and character than Darcy? However, Darcy does have his merits... A pond, Pemberley, the whole pastoral idyll. Hmmmmmm.
