MSN E-mail button (1 Viewer)

I want to check my e-mails through Firefox instead of IE6 when clicking the e-mail icon from msn messenger. I have set Firefox to be the default browser but it will launch IE6 instead.
Can this be overriden through the registry?
Or is there a 'patch' of some sort...

APPENDED: They're some cool plug-ins.. good graphics in the configuration

you dont have to install those extras tis optional.....its just a few other plugins TheBlasphemer and others have made......some of them are quite useful.
