does anyone here do music at unsw, or know somebody who does?

what is it like? i am applying for music next year at unsw and uws, and want to know if its worth traveling the extra hour to do the better course. any help would be appreciated.

Yes, I have friends who do it. It's fairly good, apparently. I accompanied a guy who applied for New South, Penrith, the con and Newcastle, and got into UWS and Newcastle. I think he went to Newcastle in the end, even though he lived in Sydney and didn't want to move out for uni. So I reckon it's worth it.

Any partiular reason for choosing UNSW though?

Although Newcastle Conservatorium and Canberra School of Music (ANU) are mad, I don't want to move for uni, so my 3 main options are:

- Sydney Conservatorium
- UWS
- UNSW

I've spoken to people from UWS and the Con, but not from UNSW. UNSW's music department is pretty new, so I don't really know whether it's any good. And damn, I missed the open day!
