for 16 i just went over...

A - expenses/sales
B - C assets - C liabilities
C - OE/sales
D - acnts/sales/365.

none to me seemed possible right in dealing with a non current asset and an alternate source of finance... i think i put C as a punt

because historical cost comes off the balance sheet - assets

expense ratio doesn't come off balance sheet, WC and receivables are short term

i duno, some tricky questions

answer to Q16 must be C. Remember the venture was already financed by the government hence that rules out expenses as an answer. After looking at the alternatives and tossing up between B and C, I picked C.

B. Because historical cost effects the value of your assets, and the only ratio present with assets in their formula is the working capital ratio.

I got D for question 9.. But it IS B - Global branding..

The reason i put D was cos i misunderstood the question .. I thought it meant:
Some consumers around the world knew "coca cola" AS "pepsi-cola" ..

instead of: That consumers know the difference between Pepsi and coke around the world..

If they just took away the word "cola" after pepsi i would have understood it!!

Also for question 13 .. I reckon the answer is:

(B) increase current liabilities and increase non-current assets

Because: It said that correct printing used an overdraft facility.. If it says the used an overdraft faciility that means They WILL use an overdraft facility! It doesnt mean they'll use cash at bank..

Even though they have cash at bank, doesn't mean they have to use it..

Read the question.. "Correct printing has decided to use an OVERDRAFT FACILITY"

Therefore the anser is B i think :D

For question 1 It SHOULD be (C) Interpersonal.. Because the question asks what management ROLE..

(A) Decision-making is wrong because that is a managerial SKILL.. not a ROLE.. hehe :D

icebreaka ive got to agree wit u
coz current liabilities will increase since an overdraft is short term sourc of finanace n non-current assets will increase bcoz a printer is a long term asset which prob cannot be converted into cash in the short term
