I find mx2 more interesting as there's no concepts like complex numbers, ellipses and hyperbolas. Even though hard, i enjoy trying new stuff.

If I want to break free from the hard, new stuff, i go to MX1.

MX2 is meant to be helpful when it comes to MX1. There's no complex no. in mx1.

The results of the poll tell me that everybody prefers MX2.

Only so far, mx2 is not helping me with mx1. I don't see any complex numbers or ellipses in mx1. Wait until we get to polynomials and curve sketching.

Yeah the pokemon "Ditto" could change into any other pokemon and use it's attacks just like it.

And 4 unit sure does help with 3 unit work. :uhhuh:

Integration for sure, it'll make 3u seem so much more simple.

we did complex numbers way b4 we started stuff on calculus of trig functions so it did help me with the radian stuff when we finally got up to it in 3U. 4U's really good!!!

In my personal opinion, MX2 does help u with MX1 in a way, like it helps u to think more broadly, use so many methods u would hav not thought abt...and yeah, there is this harder 3U which help u much!

I remember once I was studying the past papers for MX1, then I came to this integration question which was also in the MX2 paper. My reaction was is this MX1? I seem doing MX2... :)

I like both courses, MX2 for the challanges and it provides me endless work and "headache" JK..LOL...but MX1 can be pretty challenging as well, tho' less than MX2...If I had to choose, yeah...I love MX1 since I did better in it... (how naive I am -_-!)

MX2 helping you in MX1? Bahahahahahahaha......

Seriously, the biggest benefit MX2 has over MX1 is that it gives you the confidence to know that you can do good as well as expanding your mathematical mind. But generally, if you need to use 4u to solve a 3u question, then you're making the question too hard.
