I thought I'd make this thread to find any other mcr fans.

Don't seem to be many round.

Just trying to vent my disgust at the annoying number of "fans" who love Gerrard.

Yeah, Gerrard is hot - get over it girls.

True mcr fans giva a damn bout the other four guys - you know, mikey, frank, matt and ray????

Anyway - anyone else who's sick of mcr being compared to thursday and the used also?

i didnt know they were compared to the used,
though i must admit i started liking the bands on exactly the same day as eachother!!!

I was so pissed but as I'm a xmas casual at target they need me there everyday of that week.

Hopefully they have thier own full tour soon.

But yeah - if you've noticed mcr and the used have a similar sound but it's not exactly the same.

mcr is more "dark" i suppose, while used are kinda more uplifting - i'm judging from their latest album, in love and death, their first album was better.

they're only compared to thursday because they both come from new jersey and are on the same record label -reprise.

for the point of this argument, I don't mind mcr and I have their album. i just happen to think less of myself for doing so, but it's not like I can help what music I like... well i can..

point is, mcr is just another band like the used etc that are becoming mainstream now and they're not that great musically. catchy beat and lyrics that 12 year olds love.

it just a trend for pplz to hate on mainstream artist with shit load of advertisement and videos.

Haven't heard anything from them so i ain't gonna comment on that. Then i got different opinions...those who only listen to stuff on the radio say they are the bomb while those who don't think they are nothing special.
