no....

they may be small and stylish, but they still weigh quite a bit.

I would rather the toshiba slimline centrino laptop, only 1.1kg

I have the Portege R100 and I adore it :) It's not very useful if you like watching high-quality DVDs or burning to CD or you do a lot of data transfer using 3.5" floppies (!!) or .. well, anything which isn't embedded on the laptop, really.

It's perfect for me :)

The only thing I like about Macs is that they integrate terminal :(

Why? Is it because it's very different to Windows? That would just be a case of finding your way around.

If it's something deeper, well, nothing wrong with that. :)

Personally I'm glad I can't afford one now. Means I have to save up and will (hopefully) have enough when the PowerBook G5 comes out. Way better than my current Toshiba Satellite A30 (which, trust me, is still pretty damn good).

As for style, the iBook will always look like a chopping board, and it's a pity the PowerBooks aren't Titanium any more...

Ah Mac...no viruses, no hardware compatibility issues, no Microsoft spyware campaigns, no bloatware... [dreams]

I can't :p

But yeah, I'll have to replace the current one sooner or later, won't I? Hopefully then I'll be working (and still leeching living at home) so yeah...

I had it at the interviews? Geez I'm surprised you remember! :)
I would prefer a powerful desktop than a powerful laptop, personally.
