yeh there are the very conservative asian parents who dont let their kids do anything cuz they try to stick to the old ways, and then there are those like my bfs folks who let them do anything cuz they think its was australian kids do lol....
anyways. aimstar, i know EXACTLY where ur coming from. same thing happened with me, yet my bf is 4yrs older than me and i got caught wagging school n shit like that so things werent going so well but are now alot better. i COMPLETELY disagree with lying to ur folks, and giving them an ultimatum. they trust u, u dont want to ruin that. try speaking with ur them about how u feel, or write a letter to ur parents. that way u can let them know how u feel and u wont chicken out on saying everything u want. once they recognise that, things should go from there. it did with me, and i had it really bad (read the "bah..." thread)
