Does anyone here work at myer in a sales role selling things like laptops and other electronics? I'm interested to know what sort of rates & benefits you get (commission, spivs, store discounts, double time etc...). Also...does anyone actually buy this sort of stuff from myer? or do you get like 1 sale a day? How stable is your job? just big months? june/christmas?

You have to be VERY lucky to get a job in sales.. ie myers and those jobs..

I don't know how relevant this is..

But I got told the people who sell cosmetics get commission by totalling up total sales, then evenly distributing the extra money..

comissions in myer is from the extended warranties that you sell to the customers. that's pretty much it tbh.

oh ok, how much commision % are we talkin about?

depends how many people you sell it to and how long the warranty is for. It's up and down.

oh and for each person it's between 5 - 10
