Doesn't the 8gb 2nd gen Nano and new iPod video 30gb cost the same at $380 each?

I just don't see why you'd get a Nano if this is right.

However, the nano is scratchproof.
However, Incase and iLife are producing more ipod video cases, improving them aesthetically and functionally with each round...

I have two silicone 5G cases. Crap.
And most of the plastic cases are crap also, ie Agent18's 5G offering. Their nano case is superb though.
Leather much?

I'm quite happy with my 4th-gen 20GB :)

Get the Nano if you don't have much music, don't plan on acquiring much and that small size/portability is a huge issue to you.

Get the Video if you've got alot of music, like to watch videos, look at photos and don't mind the larger size.

Pretty simple decision really.. they're targetted towards users with different circumstances.

Unless you really want the Nano size/weight and don't intend to watch photos/video, then go for the Nano... but for all other reasons, go Video.
