every time this comes around i tell myself i'll do it and i never do. i might actually give it a shot this year in between exams. hey its not like i'll have much else to do for the rest of the month :eek:

I've never written anything over 3000 words to be honest. The idea of writing 50,000 is mind-blowingly inconceivable over a year let alone a month.

it doesn't have to be any good at all.. in fact it doesnt even need to have a plot really.

some people have been published, or gone onto rework their writing into something good, but seriously it's just to get the words.

check out the site... it's pretty informative.

yeah i love how it doesnt actually have to be good, takes the pressure off. most of what i write is utter crap until i edit the hell out of it like 300 times...then it becomes just mildly crap :eek: but hey, it's fun. :D

I'm already registered! Yeah, I'm doing it ^_^

I've written before, but never 50 000 words in a month! It won't be high quality, but its good for getting a lot down, and I can use it as a rough draft...

And yes, a third of it is through exams. I'll be so pushed for time, its not fair!

I'd do it, but the first two weeks are at the same time as uni exams.

So as much as I love writing, no. I won't be playing this year.
