If anyone could provide tips on NBSC Manly interview that would be greatly appreciated. I'm wondering what they value most (e.g. extracurriculars, music, sports), and what sort of questions are in the interviews.

Applying for Year 10 entry, also wondering if anyone knows how many spots are open.

Spots generally open a lot for Year 9, around 15 students. There may be spots for Year 10, but I'm not sure about the number. At Manly, we value extracurriculars and "giving back to the community" a lot. If you emphasise these points, it should go well.
