Need an Algebra Textbook for MATH1131. Lecturer didn't mention this. (1 Viewer)

So I just had my first lectures for MATH1131 today and considering I've only done 2 unit, I've understood most of the stuff, for now at least. I know we dont need a textbook but It'd help if i had a textbook for the algebra section. So does anyone know which book I should get for algebra? My lecturer never talked about this btw.

Unfortunately based on the course outline there is no algebra textbook. The algebra notes from the course pack should be good enough but otherwise you need to ask your lecturer directly.

The course pack for MATH1131 should be sufficient enough for your learning of both calc and algebra streams. I doubt there will be a need to buy any extra materials, as the course pack has everything you will need.

+1 to that. The math course pack has all the relevant content, with more than enough content that you need. And it comes with notes for algebra and calculus.
