For elec eng/maths the UAC Code is 425021 (a generic eng/sci course) and UNSW program 3725. You can find the subjects needed for the combined program by either going to the maths school office or email to dennis trennery (i think that's the person you contact and the school of elec eng website will give you NO info on elec eng/maths. However I'm sure you can do this combo). It does not cost full fee to do summer session and you can use HECS to pay it. However you can only enrol summer session course later in the year.

I would suggest you to email Gladys for anything in doubts like the afterward procedure etc.

dude, what's wrong with melissa? (...i think we're talking about the same person, ... sits at the computer on the far left?)

anyway, to do elec eng/science you go off the elec eng/comp sci program outline (on eet website) or the elec eng/sci program (handbook site).
Do all the compulsory(elec courses)
where it say comp sci/sci electives, you plug in what ever you want to do for you science degree.
to get a maths major for your science degree, ask maths what you need to do
(e.g. for a physics major, one needs 48 units of 2/3 year physics courses)

basically, elec will own your soul for the remaining 4 years, they decide whether or not you graduate in the end.
so you need structure everything around them, and squeeze in your science courses as you see fit.

oh, and welcome to making-your-own-degree :)
