Hey guys, I need help! What's this technique called when there's one word on each line?

e.g
The
world
spun
and
his
vision
hazed…

This technique is in the book Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close for the grandmother's pov (if you have read this).
I was thinking that it is called syntax - sentence structure or truncated sentences? Anyone know? Need it for this essay on techniques.

possibly enjambment? since the sentence is been spit onto different lines

and to add: the effect you could talk about is depicting the character to be deep in thought or finding the situation difficult to talk about, aka the character is emotionally impacted
