Make a summary of the course. There are three sections. Practises. Frames and the Conceptual framework. Under each heading write what each one entails. Such as Art practise Historical practise and Critical practise. Have a short definition for each one. The hard part is learn all the definitions.

Download some old papers from the BOS site and look at the first section. The first thing to do is to analyse each question. Identify which of the three main areas the qustion falls into. Then look at what subset of that section it belongs to and trot out your learnt definition and apply it to the demands of the question.

The paper says you will bemarked on the following points
 write in a concise and well-reasoned way
 present an informed point of view
 use the plates and any other source material provided to inform your response

An informed point of view means you can use quotes, dates and other information to support your point of view.

The last point means you can use any information provided to support your point of view. Look closely at the information beside the plate. You can put most of it in your answer. Such as the artist, the date of the image allows you to place it in its time/place context, Its size is a point to comment on etc, etc

Some people do the paper backwars starting with the question worth the most marks, the one from section 2 then 1c, 1b, 1a but its up to you

good luck
