My Film is about a mother who's daughter is in Italy for her gap year and she hasn't heard from her daughter in a while and doesn't know what to do or how to contact her. She discovers that the daughter passed away as a result of a terrorist attack in Italy.
Earlier this year I was in Italy on exchange and I filmed 3 video diaries that the daughter was sending to her mother in Australia, saying hi and showing her around and then as they progress you find out about the terrorism in italy. In the last video she states "I am scared this is my last video".
I will be filming the rest in Australia - which will be of the mother, but I don't know whether the story should be about her mourning or overcoming the death. I also don't know how to present the video diaries and how the mother will see them etc.
