2007 when I apply the right hand palm rule is it always on the leftside on the dc motor?

Yes, for the 2007 Q21, the right-hand palm rule indicates that the motor is spinning clockwise, and therefore the weight should be added to position X (left side) in order to stop the spinning.


Shoom, if you're talking about the 2007 HSC also, then you need to apply the right-hand palm rule, not the grip/screw rule.

my physics book says to apply the rule on the left side to dtermine the direction of the spinning motor this rule is hard to apply

In HSC paper 2005, why is the answer to Q 7 A ?

If I apply the right push rule to the left side of the motor in option A it spins anti clockwise
