I really feel like buying some new CDs...i just want some easy listening stuff....can anyone recommend some different music--i hate hip hop, i hate music that makes you feel like your stoned and i hate all those indies who think they're awesome with their cuffs, multipe piercings and sharpie haircuts. So if anyone can recommend some cool new music.......

I agree, hip hop is shocking, but you might enjoy bertie Blackman, Muse, jack johnson, Ben harper, blind boys of alabama, India.Arie, radiohead, Franz ferdinand, Dresden dolls, beth Orton, Tori amos, Free, Groundhogs, Elixir, Enya, Something for Kate or Michael Franti to name a few. I do suggest Wolfmother and the Arctic monkeys though if you would like to go a bit heavier.
