Need TIPS for doing WELL in HSC (1 Viewer)

Before I could study up to 3 hrs everyday but atm mostly ZERO.
Damn 5 mths to go for the hsc but i'm bludging more and more.
I wasnt like this bfr wen i was in yr 11.
Well wen i wanna study i just lose my concentration. <especially wen i use the comp.,msn,internet>
I need some good tips to do well in HSC and having back my concentration.

UAI AIM = >87 but atm it seems very hard for me 2 get it.

know the syllabus and write notes based around the dop points

study past papers, get ur hands on anything, the harder, the better, do trails and halfyearlies for as many schools as possible as well as actual hsc exams

the more past paers u do, the more familiar u get to the questions which may be asked, and the more familiar u get, the less surpirses u will encounter when it comes exam time

It sounds like you have burnt yourself out. The key thing is to balance study and your social life. What the above poster has mentioned are fairly good tips. Just don't try and study hours and hours each night; maximum 2 hours with a break every 1/2 hour.

i feel exactly the same way.
i think i tried to hard in year 11 and lost interest now that im in year 12.
i find the best thing to do is just complete all necassary homework first and then just revise over what was done each day in class. its good to write notes form each day to but sometimes i cant be bothered so i juist look over what we learnt in class.

Haha, that's kinda the same as me. Only I peaked in Year 7 (first in English). In Years 8 and 9 I went really well, but from Year 10 onwards, I've been going downhill. Which really sucks, because compared to years 7, 8 and 9, years 10, 11 and 12 actually mean something. :sigh:
