who here is a fan of the neo soul genre

i think its the fucking greatest genre its so relaxing and it makes for the best background music

peronsally my favourite neo soul artist is D'Angelo

and his songs 'brown sugar, 'shit damn motherfucker,' 'crusin,' and 'devils pie' are some of the best songs i've ever heard

erykah badu, the roots, bilal, musiq soulchild (to some extent)....its like jazzy soul R&B funk type music, its great

d'angelo is the shit- brown sugar is okay, but voodoo is fucking awesome.
erykah's great, as is jill scott. i like some of musiq's stuff too

haven't got that one but i have 'the listening' heaps good album, though more hip hop than neo soul....pete rocks got the most soulful beats....'mecca and the soul brother' rules
