At Abbey's Bookshop, they sell Dr. Seuss in Latin. That's what we got our Latin teacher for his birthday.

For instance, did you hear the Russian bear joke? Or the one about the best man's wedding speech?

btw did i tell u (i'm not sure) that i got a final round offer for bonded med at UNC... but i turned it down for law (albeit UTS law). that way i can still play with my latin

But in med, you can do things like tell people how to spell "ductus deferens", and blush when ppl shout to each other about the pudendal canal with its arteries and veins across the corridor unbeknownst to its contextual insinuations

I go to uni with a few latin enthusiasts, including the girl who topped extension in 2002. We sit in lecturers and write death threats about the lecturer in latin...

Haha I won't be joining you at UNSW...my UAI renders me permanently academically ineligible. I do have high hopes for Newcastle though...

And failing that, you can see I have an interesting course here at UTS anyway. I'm changing it to add medical science - triple major!
