Okay, these are my TRIAL, not overall ranks. I go to a school that was 10th last year.

Biology: 3rd/25
Chem: 8th/30ish?
Drama: 2nd/16
English: 9th/77
Maths: 22nd/56 (but this is including yr 11 accelerants and ext. students; without them I'm first)

Thank you!

i think we need your overall rank to give you a better prediction
but since you went to a school that was tenth last year, chances are you'll have a high chance of gettin 90+ if you study hard
good luck

We're not actually given our overall ranks, but I can guesstimate:

Biology: 3rd-4th/25
Chem: 3rd-4th/30ish
Drama: 2nd/16
English: 4th-6th/77
Maths: 22nd/56 (but this is including yr 11 accelerants and ext. students; without them I'm first)- this one is around the same

Possibly as high as 98-99, certainly 95+. Maths might bring you down slightly.

Isn't that a bit of a low estimate? She'd easily be in band six for everything but maths - those ranks would get band six at my school (27th in state) - so I'd call 95 the absolute minimum if she can do as well in the hsc as during the year.

Thanks guys. I'm actually pretty good at maths, not to brag (I got the Maths prize this year), it's just that there are scary maths freaks at our school.

The predictions have been a real encouragement and great motivator.

Haha, I guess we will! If I'm happy with my result (i.e. if I get above 90) I'll yank this thread back up and post my mark.
