Yeah, it's changing. Yr 9 this year has also changed, the new syllabus is really odd. You kinda jump from topic to topic without really learning anything. i actually prefer the old syllabus

There making it harder plus there adding a computing skills SC test.

The Computer Skills SC test is nothing, very very basic knowledge
No need to worry about it

If the Computer Skills SC is anything like the one my school did a trial one of last year, it's shit-easy.

I mean, I forget if they gave us 45min or something like that, I was done in under 10mins. It's a no-brainer, especially if you've used a computer, well, at all.

They gave you a trial lol as if you would need one

It's basically a waste of time, I cam half an hour late and finished in like 20 mins to spare

That sucks, I wanted to look at the one we did last year and try and guess waht I would have gotten. My computing teacher and myself were disappointed we didn't get marks back, particularly mine -- I loved that test. Way better than my favourite real SC, English.

Which other schools did any trials?

Never had trials for such a useless waste of time test

Computer lessons at school were the most useless subject, such a waste of time

Were they Computer Literacy or Computer Studies? In Year 10 we had one lesson a week on either Jobs (which involved looking at newspapers and a book of jobs) or Computer Literacy, and my ComLit teacher knew jack about computers. And I think he was still in the boys=good at computers frame of mind, so when I left the exam, he thought I thought it was too hard.

The computer skills test is really easy. It's multi choice, so even if you don't know the answer, you can always guess. :D
