yeah it’s for advanced and levels belowi don't get one per week, wait do they do one per week for other classes now?
there are only 2 different booklets for sure.pre sure only acc and spec get the same booklets advanced doesnt
we are nearly finished with polynomials and I think we are moving onto vectors soon, followed by circle geo and absolute values (I think)which topic is yr10 specialist and acc class up to? like are you already in yr11 content? or just in depth of yr10 content?
yeah but she said she dumbed it down for us, like a year 10 level. idk I was thinking the same thing as u so I was rlly confused why that was gonna be the next topicVectors? Lmfao, thats a 3U yr 12 topic, you need abs values and shit done befoe tackling those. its probably later throughout the term
Ik this is crazy late, but bruh they started integration in my 3U class yr 11 for adv (I wasn’t allowed to do accelerated or spec classes due to me accelerating a yr above in classes) does ngo and sons always go off syllabus like this normally? Like we skipped curve sketching using derivative and instead randomly started to do integration w logs and shityeah but she said she dumbed it down for us, like a year 10 level. idk I was thinking the same thing as u so I was rlly confused why that was gonna be the next topic
bruh no clue because idk what all the y11 topics r LMFAO but ngo and sons sometimes they do the topics in a rlly strange orderIk this is crazy late, but bruh they started integration in my 3U class yr 11 for adv (I wasn’t allowed to do accelerated or spec classes due to me accelerating a yr above in classes) does ngo and sons always go off syllabus like this normally? Nah bc if they did curve sketching w derivatives, they wouldn’t redo differentiation againbruh no clue because idk what all the y11 topics r LMFAO but ngo and sons sometimes they do the topics in a rlly strange order
maybe they alr did that topic before u joined? idk tbh
differentiation is split into two, at least when i did it. essentially what my class did was differentiation a (differentiation of algebra, logs and exponentials) halfway through year 10, did a few more topics that would be covered in the first term for 3u then at the end of year 10 we did differentiation b (curve sketching and optimisation). i only did integration in the 2nd half of year 11, and we only did the algebra bits, then did a few 3u topics (vectors, induction, trig equations) then went back to integration of expo + log and trigNah bc if they did curve sketching w derivatives, they wouldn’t redo differentiation again
depends on what class you're in but adv usually follows penrith and girra's syllabus, and while they do have a set order of topics if enough people want to do a certain topic next then they can adjust it (that was the case in my class)bruh no clue because idk what all the y11 topics r LMFAO but ngo and sons sometimes they do the topics in a rlly strange order

yeah but who starts integration without fully finishing derivatives?I know Mr Mai usually takes the order of math topics in a different way... because usually he asks the class what he would like to do.
But for sure, at the end of Year 12 you will have covered every topic.
im not speiclist but we doo the specialist booklets and they are massive mostly cuz they leave like 1-2 blank pages for one questionomg just started at ngo and sons and the booklet is so thick!!! hahah my friends at school were amazed. is anyone else here from 4u specialist?
its so cool hahah i went to du before.. it was fun bcos people socialise a lot, but i was in a1 and it was so noisy that it was hard to learn. anyway, im so happy i tried it out bcos my friends were telling me about it. i have never understood maths in this way before!! i wish i started sooner, but im trying to catch up nowim not speiclist but we doo the specialist booklets and they are massive mostly cuz they leave like 1-2 blank pages for one question
