Ok, so I realise it's a little early to start carrying out my PIP (I'm only in year 11), but I figured there wasn't anything stopping me from developing a topic/hypothesis etc...

Quick question to all you past and present PIP undertakers (and to any teachers that may be on the forums)...Are there any no-go-don't-even-think-about-it PIP topics? I know it's an open research project, but are there any topics teachers/PIP markers advise you not to undertake?

Thanks so much!

Oh yes there are

Stay away from divorce, depression, drugs [the 3Ds] and anything that does not relate to society and culture and anything that will not allow for you to become more socially and cultural literate.

Anything that isn't considered to be 'ethical.'

We got advised to not study the Rave Culture

Things that are too broad, but they can't be too narrow either.

Youth suicide is done to death as well as eating disorders and other stuff...

I wish I had started my PIP much sooner...

xx
