I recently got a nokia 6230. If someone could please reply to my questions, it would be much appreciated!

- Generally speaking, how many messages can this device store?
- Is there a way to put the speaker volume down! Whenever i play something i recorded it comes out really loud and distorted!
- If i wanted to change my operator logo, would I have to use a data cable? If so, where would i get one from?

1)SMS - i think it's 100 total - though some newer phones can store several hundred
2)you should just be able to use the volume buttons on the side of the phone
3)plenty of WAP sites u can get op logos from - dont bother with nokia data cables, they are shitty.

1) You can store up to 150 text messages or 50 picture messages. You can also send or recieve a message in 6 parts.

Some older phones allow you to send an ultra message that's double the characters, and sends it as two messages. You phone allows up to 6. That's 885 characters. And probably $1.20 to send that (6x.20 average). But a nice feature nonetheless.

alternatively you can send a single mms message of 1000 characters and it will cost u less
