whats really attracting me to this phone is the 5 megapixel camera on it.

If you wait a while, there are new Sony Ericsson phones coming out. The new K850 has a 5MP camera in it , and it's much smaller and sexier than an N95.

The thing which totally put me off buying the n95 was the insanely shit battery life.

yeh the battery life is a real downer but i wonder how the n95 would fair under normal usage cos all of the reviewers would have totally trashed the n95 24/7 constantly using the GPS and wifi.

don't complain, my 6288 lasts one to two days with normal usage

*sms and a few calls. :( Can't get worse than that.
2.5 days is pretty good for n95 methinks, does it have wifi?

3 days with normal usage out of the box is really low. After a year or two ull probly have to charge it everyday.

^^it does have wifi.

Yeah, I struggle to get 2 days with my 6300. Using around 20-40min of calls, maybe 10-30min of games and 30min of music player, as well as a few bluetooth transfers.

I think Nokia needs to do something about their batteries and soon.

Weird.

My last nokia [the 6100] wasn't that bad on battery life.. I used to talk on it for hours and sms [that was pretty much all it had] and it'd still last me around 3 days... note: HOURS of talking..

My current phone [w800i, bought it end of 05] lasts ages.. like 4-6 days without charge.. and I talk [less now], sms, mp3, game.. everything.. I last charged my phone 2 days ago and I still have 58% battery left.

YES its worth ever cent dont worry about battery life i use mine like crazy it lasts about 30 hours.
Everything you could want in a Phone I phone is nothing compared to this this has it all
The 5mp Carl Zeiss Camera it records amazing quality nothing is near it for a phone the sound is so clear it never shakes and it always smooth.
The pictures can easily compete with a 4mp Digital Camera and maybe even some 5mp.
It has an Audio Player that Plays everything.
It runs very fast on Symbian 9.5 Series 3 S60
What is impressive this phone has a 330mhz Arm 11 CPu and it has a 2D/3D Graphics processor yes small but it still does amazing things remeber n-gage this phone can give better graphics then the N-gage millions of apps avalibe.
it has a Free GPs wihich was slower then a normal gps to lock but now they have added A-GPS with the firmware and it locks in aprx 20sec to.
Stereo Speakers with 3D sound sound amazing more like laptop speakers then phone speakers.
Right now up to 4gb Memory Card but as it increases we will see 16gb in about 2 years.
Not that big when closed this phone is a bit smaller then an N70.
The Wi_Fi Feature is great its 2.4ghz range.
HSDPA is good it makes the net load faster.
Buy it if you can you WILL NOT REGRET IT.
