Hi everyone, I have been marking quite a few Module A essays recently. My main takeaway has been this: most students are not putting in enough context.

Remember - there are FOUR types of context: personal, social, historical and cultural

Each paragraph needs to address:
How context --> ideology --> angle from which themes are looked at --> meaning --> deepen understanding and appreciation

WHICH MEANS THAT IF THERE IS NO CONTEXT THE REST OF YOUR ARGUMENT DOESN'T ACTUALLY MATCH UP TO THE SYLLABUS REQUIREMENTS AT ALL!!!

Check out this blog post as a starting point:

On another note, stay safe everyone! The government has confirmed that HSC is going forward (https://7news.com.au/lifestyle/heal...to-stay-home-amid-coronavirus-crisis-c-760311) so take plenty of Vitamin C, get plenty of sleep and drink lots of water! 💪💪💪
