I just purchased the uai program from ozseek and Iam pissed off..
I entered marks that my cousin did last year which happened to be the same subjects I do this year...

Exam mark Assessment mark HSCmark

2u business stds 84/100 77/100 81
2uEnglish ADv 76/100 79/100 78
2u maths 82/100 76/100 79
maths ext1 32/50 31/50 32
2uPhysics 71/100 73/100 72
2uVisual Arts 86/100 85/100 86

UAI 2002 was 79.85

Ozseek prediction is: 91.50

It's off by 11 points goddamit!!!:mad1:
Was there something I should have done to set the program to make a close to correct prediction..(91.5 is more like a person who is dillusional about the uai and does no work!)

Does anyone have any comments about what i can do about this Program...(or else it was a waste of $14.95 AARRRRGHH:chainsaw: :chainsaw: :chainsaw: )

Unless you emailed 5 people already advertising the UAI seeker, you only have the ability to input percentiles, not marks.

Check whether it's asking for State Percentile or Aligned Mark. Then check what you're putting in to it.

And also - Make sure you select the 2002 calculation if you want to compare it to what your cousin got last year.

UAISeeker is very accurate, provided you know how to use it. :D (Percentiles are usually best, not predicted marks.)

If you're using the version that takes aligned HSC marks, then obviously yes, because the marks you enter are the average of your moderated assessment mark and your examination mark.

Using aligned marks...

Your 2002 UAI is: 80.30

I think that's sufficiently close. :)
