Nov/Dec STAT (1 Viewer)

So is anyone doing the STAT test in these months?

I'm doing it in November, cos I suddenly decided that I'm interested in Pharmacy -_-

this is strange, I think I might know u. I'm doing it on Sturday (18th Oct) are u in first year uni and do u live in baulko?

So the stat test is done done and done. it wasnt all that bad, some of the questions were worded strangely, so that made them confusing, and the poem interpretations were crap, because everyone interprets things differently, and my answer may not agree with theirs, however, overall, there were only about 10 questions I wasnt sure about.
heres hoping for good marks to come!

yeah im doing stat sometime in november or maybe its early december cant remember. Its at birrong i think. im doing it just in case i suddenly wanna do pharmacy.

Hey, should I do it? I mean, it seems interesting, but I've got a good run at med (two interviews and counting) so I'm not really sure if I'll look seriously at Pharmacy. Plus it's a lot of money...

haha ill probably see u there then. actually, i havent even sent in the form yet...am i allowed to send it in the day after my hsc exams finish? or is it too late by then?

Nah, you'd have to do it Dec 6 (the last possible day for Main Round Pharmacy) then

So i got my results, here they are

Verbal stat score = 186, percentile rank = 99.9
Quantitative stat score = 178, percentile rank = 97.1
overall stat score = 181, percentile rank 99.8

i'm assuming thats pretty good yes? i'm told the average is around 153 or something like that.
well, its worth 60% of my application to Vet so i'm pretty happy with it.

The unis use it as additional criteria I guess. Why? I dont know... I guess cos reasoning and logic is a critical part of science-based courses

hmm yep

There's two versions - Multiple Choice and Written English

Some regional unis use Written English as additional criteria

Multiple Choice is a prerequisite for Undergrad Pharmacy at USyd

And Multiple Choice was part of the RET test for UWS... which is an alternative entry program

It's somewhere at the beginning of the UAC Book if you wanna know more
