I like.

It's a shame though we only play the dragons once. It's the best local derby in the comp

It is a shame. Paying out Scum fans and taking the 2 points... doesn't get much better.

I like the draw, except we really deserve 2 byes during Origin. Our 2 Qld games being in succession is fantastic though, an excuse to spend a week up there.

The first game of the season, Friday night Dragons v Dogs will be huge. Can't fucken wait.

gordo,

Buddy, this is the 2005 draw. As in, the season that finished a month ago.

In 2006, we've got the byes in Round 11 and Round 17. Both around State of Origin, considering we have the heaviest representation for NSW.

This is good news, because it gives us four guaranteed points during the tough SOO period, and it also doesn't stall any momentum that may have built up by the end of the season.

In 2004 (and this year), the byes killed us. 2004 was the classc example at Penrith .. had four wins on the trot, don't play for a week, come to the Final and we're down 24-0 after 15 minutes. We showed by the end of the match that we were the better team, but it still wasn't enough.

This year, we had 9 wins in a row, played two matches in five weeks, lost all momentum, and didn't show up against the Tigers.

At least if (and when) we fuck up this year, there is no 'the bye' excuse.

flair reason and skill?, compared to the game where all you need is to weigh 200kg and run into other people?

AFL is a much more skillful game than rugby, no matter what you say.

I admit that some of the heavy hitting in rugby is good, but they are easily matched by some of the hits in AFL.

Im not too sure what your trying to say, but ok.

alot of skill in kicking the ball somewhere on a massive sized oval in the hope that someone will be there to get the ball....

Well if you've ever actually watched the game you'd realise that they kick it with pinpoint accuracy, some of the kicks are amazing... as for rugby, half the time they dont seem to be able to kick it onto the field. THEY ARE STANDING IN THE MIDDLY OF THE FIELD AND IT STILL GOES OUT

Now im sure this may be for tactics sometimes, but alot of the times you'll hear the commentors say this wasnt the case.

I cant see any area of skill involved in rugby, you need to be big, fast (optional) and the aim is to run through people its pretty much like british bulldog.

In AFL having the skill to be able to mark the ball running at top speed, or kick doing the same, with the accuracy and distance they get is amazing. The ball handling skills to be able to manouver through a pack and change the ball over as quickly as they do, are outstanding.

AFL is a game of amazing skill matched perfectly with speed agility and strength.

Rugby seems to be a game made for the brutally stupid to play, actually it seems they get this way after being hit so many times. I cant remember ever hearing an intelligent rugby player, maybe there are some i dont really know.. but it couldnt be many.

Jeez Guzak, you suck more cock than a whore that works as the suction tester at a synthetic-cock factory, when all of the other suction testers are broken for a month, and then gets some money on the side by competing for the creamy-white medal in the bi-monthly "Semen Chug" contest at the local VD clinic, holding two-hour sessions afterwards to teach the newcomers how to properly suck a cock, and then reiterating thrice on each cocksucking demonstration given.
