Is it required to know for the dotpoint "describe the conditions under which the nucleus is stable" the i nteractions between the strong nuclear force, the coulombic repulsion forces between protons, etc., or will it suffice for saying in chemistry that large atoms (>83 mass number) become unstable, or when their proton:neutron ratio is unstable?

since this is chem, I wouldnt mention strong nuclear force
I think the last two points will be enough

yep. i agree with serge about not needing the nuclear force.

our teacher also told us to talk about the proton to neutron ratio of 1:1 for the lighter elements and 1:1.5 for the heavy elements. also, talk about the zone of stability graph.
