which profession in your opinion has better prospects? and if so what uni is best for each degree.

Can only speak on behalf of nursing - I think the career prospects are great. You'll be ntitled to work on most sectors of health care. Employment is around 86-91% from last I checked (source: myuniversity).

Getting a nursing degree can pave the way to an array of different career options, ie. Midwifery (which is an additional year, upon the completion of your degree) or you can specialise in a certain aspect of patient care, such as Emergency, ICU etc. The possibilities with nursing are really endless. Its an extremely flexible degree.

I recommend either UTS, ACU or UWS. I can highly vouch for the UWS course!

Nursing would have the most prospects but OC and audiology is more specialised (possibly less prospects).

if i did nursing at uts could i do my masters in audiology at macquarie? because theyre the only place that offers it but im scared they'll only accept their graduates because its really competitive

Best ask the universities themselves .
