Hey,

I'm currently studying pharmacology and UNSW but afterwards I want to complete a Masters in Nursing at Usyd and become a nurse. I want some relevant work experience. So does anyone know where to start or how to get your foot in the door?
I've considered changing my degree but I don't want to start something when I haven't completed something first.

Also, is nursing a difficult job in terms of time? Stereotypically it seems so. However, this doesn't deter me.

Thanks.

Oh and another thing... Is it difficult to get into Masters of Nursing at Usyd?
Is there an open day for post grad courses where I can get more information as well?
Thanks

Aged care facilities are always looking for volunteers, and if you stick with them long enough, you might be able to work as an AIN with them. You usually have to do a 4-14 week course before you qualify for it, but you might be able to do your training with them
