if a force is applied to a ball and it undergoes backspin in the air.... does it mean that its height will be greater so therefore it will fall short of target

how about topspin with the same force.. iot will dip?

the answer to this question really depends from which direction the force is applied from in the case of the back spin if the force is applied from the bottom and in such a way as to further increase the spin of the ball then it will go higher same thing applies to the topspin

backspin is when a force is applied to cause the ball to spin backwards
topspin is the opposite

Uhh...looks to me as if the ball's gonna spin in the same direction for both Or is the force applied to the top of the ball for it to undergo backspin?
