hey everyone

is the occupational therapy course interesting at usyd? What do you study and what types of majors are there to choose from?

Also, how much do they get paid? Is it easy to get a job in this area?

I've heard its interesting but you don't choose majors in that course. They can get paid anywhere from $45000 (hospital 1st yr out) to $100k (private) and i've heard its not to hard to get a job.
Health Science...I know you want in I want you in too.

Hopefully see you there vivtzav! (Its my first preference ) although we dont get as much freedom of choice in terms of subject selection i believe we do get 1 OT related elective in semester 1 and in the 2nd and 3rd year of the course too.

What made me choose OT was the variety it offers; you don't just focus on one specific condition or impairment but rather focus on what the individual needs and or wants to be able to do.
We also get practical experience from the first year, which sounds great. Then again like you I havent experienced the course yet but it looks like a really good course.
