I am going there tomorrow and l am going to be buying stuff for year twelve. What do you suggest for me to buy? I have a whiteboard on the back of my door. Of course the pens and books are on my list...

Oh and l have the suggestion from babydoll to get a prac book for biology.

l'm doing gen maths, hospitality, bio and advanced english as well.

All you need is pen, pencil, loose leaf paper, highlighters, post it, and a calculator for maths :D

  • parker ballpoint pen (without ballpoint cartridge, coz they suck)
  • parker gel ballpoint catridges, pack of 2 - 2 black (for exams), 6 blue (for general work);
  • staedtler marsplastic eraser;
  • 300 foolscap paper;
  • liquid paper tape;
  • highlighters;
  • post-it notes and flags;
  • 128 exercise books for maths;
  • ream of A4 Reflex paper;
  • mathomat.

lol officeworks time to time is ok.. i find it pretty expensive.. but i go there for 'in bewteen' shopping...


shouldnt everyone have a prac book anywhoo? our schoool forces us to have one..

i saw nice pens there :D pretty expensive though.. but ehhh :D theyre pretty :)

So i know you meant 128 page books... But i've used about 100 of them anyway... so you'd better get a few...

ohh and another thing... gte yourself a stapler! you will need them for exams.... big mistake not taking one into an english/history/a hell of a lot of writing subjects...
so yes definately a stapler!

you can't go wrong with binder books... none of that hassle with losing loose leaf paper all over hte place (well.. for me anyway, knowing my organisation skills =P)

don't bother with liquid paper- you give it up after a while..
um.. post its, post it flags (though they're dayum expensive after awhile =P) templates, rubbers... keep losing rubbers... i sound like a total spastic actually but who gives...

a folder (as someone else said) and the hole-punchers that slip onto the ring bits.
LOTS of paper and pens
highlighters (at least 4 colours)
a couple of lead pencils and a sharpner
mini-stapler
whiteout, erasers, etc
those little coloured tags that you stick on pages
