lol no way!

Although that could be because i had Maragret Hyland for Intro and she was really boring... and then i had Simon Kozlina who is the most awesome teacher for Law Foundation.

Law foundation is way more interesting. You cover a bigger range of stuff and its not just legal history... eg you do the whole socialism vs capitalism thing from a legal perspective; theories of ethics; logical reasoning; links between class and crime; role of corporations in ethical/legal debates; scientific research etc etc

Its raelly interesting and very very easy to get an easy D or higher in if you do your work :)
I had Margaret too for intro :( lol

Thanks, hopefully it'll be as good as you're making it sound:)
This semester I'll try to start my assignments before the day before they're due

excellent. seriously are u going to do all the readings this semester. thats my goal. do the readings each week and everything else will fall into place...i assume.
I would have been more into the readings if there was no such thing as the Intro to Law Reader...that thing was pretty bad.
I guess I'll have to be more diligent in my approach to the readings. But it would probably end up like last semester, i.e. read most of torts and neglect the rest:p

did you end up sorting out the FIM/ARD thing?

yeh i blame the tiny text in the unit reader.

i sorted out ARD. i get full credit for a subject i did last year, so i only have to do 3 subjects this sem :)

*Why use msn when we can have slower converstations on a public forum? we r so smart.
because people worship us and cling to every word we say...and one day the crap I say on here will haunt my political career as president of the world.

i have seriously wondered if my offensive BOS posts could hinder me in the future. i guess its impossible to prove who actually wrote them.
lol anyone who would use these against you in say, the employment sphere, needs to find a hobby :p

It has nothing to do with anything in your future... unless of course you use the board to p ublicly slander someone or something lol

haha...didn't they have something on Tv about employers who would search the prospective employees myspaces?

Dom: I guess it would be smart for a retirement home to search here if you were applying

idiots. they should have just killed her. she was 75, no1 would suspect anything.

i beg to differ. suppose i ran for political office. what is to stop my opponents/the press from using my racist/sexists posts on this board against me?
I suppose that could be the case but i highly doubt it would actually happen :p

Especially since like you said - no one can prove you wrote it and apart from that, who's to say your posts were serious? :)

I mean.. thats just like poeple who say don't get drunk and act like a tool because it could impact future prospects, but a huge group of successful uni students spend uni functions getting trashed and acting generally like a fuckwit :p

Law foundation is much more interesting because it covers heaps of topics and teaches you some interesting stuff. I had one teacher who ended up leaving for for law foundation but then got Scott Mann and he was very good! I also loved Simon and had him for intro, we were all sad when he left!

Nice to see that the prejudice against UWS and its students hasn't dwindled since I graduated last year.

As for anyone who thinks employers are low enough to discriminate anyone vying to be an employee are ignorant and misguided. Seriously, the "joke" is getting rather old.

If you're referring to the more recent posts - i'm not sure if you read all of the thread but we were talking about people using your posts in here against you as far as rude posts you've made... eg sexist ones . Not going into the anti-UWS crap :)

I'm bored...and I go to UWS...story of my life:lol:

A message from Melsc:
Please do not make this into a 'is UWS a crap uni' thread, if you feel you need to justify your choice for staying/not staying at UWS to people who don't even really know you its just childish. I will have enough trouble keeping this forum free from that crap over the next few months when the 07's put in their UAC apps and I don't want to see it from you guys. It only reinforces the ideas that people hold about UWS as they see you feeling the need to justify yourselves and feeds the arguments. Just ignore it, they will get bored and stop. Ok guys? I just want the forum to be a pleasant place and I dont want to be the big bad evil moderator.
Good luck with your studies,
Love Mel
I only just noticed the edit to my post....
