I Was impressed with the success of the maths study thread that i decided to launch the science study thread. On this thread let us post our ideas, questions. We can ask each other questions relating to science from Biology, Chemistry and Physics and ask help in our assignments and investigations. What do yous think?

Science?
Study?
Thread?

Its better to post in the individual specialised biology, physics and chemistry forums. They know much better.
Thanks for your help.

Start up a biology study thread in the biology forum. That'll be a greater idea than a general science one.

You forgot senior science and ees.

You have a point that I should have waited till next year. The fact is that this thread was meant for the 2007 HSC students, not youse guys who are doing HSC next year.
What I meant by the word SCience is like anything in relations to Science.

Man, you 2006'ers. I feel sorry for youse, and the strain of the HSC. Note you do have luck on ur side bcz one year they make the HSC hard the next year easy then hard and so on.

An example is the 2003 2U maths HSC-difficult
2004- Slightly easy
2005-Difficult
2006- Slightly easy (predicting-Hopefully)

A change in the difficulty of the exams should not affect our UAIs, because our UAI is determined by how well we go against other ppl in our year. The best physician should come first in both an easy exam and a difficult exam, the best chemist should come first in both, etc etc. And anyway, a lot of the HSC exams were easier than normal this year. You can't base the difficulty of a year group's HSC on one subject.

No wait a minute, it everyone found it easy then it's an easy exam :p, it wouldn't be classified as a hard exam then :)

Well then, that person is screwed then, but if everyone found it is, i.e. your school, then your mark will be scaled high as it is sort of a school marks thing

Continued. A science study thread isnt a good idea. The word- Science, reminds me of year 10. Also, nobody, at this moment, is in year 11. We all own the hsc forums.
