RLST2635 Sex, Desire and the Sacred
vs
HSTY 2656 A House Divided: The American Civil War
vs
GCST2609 - Cultures of Masculinities (sounds easy)

I've changed my enrollment 5 times over two days. Frustration.

a house divided is meant to be awesome. would be doing it myself if it didn't clash with psyc. means i have to pick a history for sem 2 to replace it.

do the consumer cultures course - no final exam + assessment seems easy. you can get prereqs waived

I think that's an advanced unit of studies, reserved for the special people doing BA Advanced.

yep it is, but you can get special permission to enrol in it from the lecturer, which is what I have done.

I'm doing the house divided course because 'new york new york' gave me a clash with some of my ancient history units :(

bustinjustin recommended I take WORK1003 whenever Brandon Ellem was taking it. Looks like he won't be taking it anymore instead we have, semester 1, Suzanne Jamieson and semester 2, Marian Baird. Which one should I take?

haven't heard of suzanne, but I've heard Marian Baird is quite good. I think I had her for one guest lecture (she's the womens' rights person, if I'm not mistaken).

Bradon is taking WORK2203 in semester 2.

To answer your PM - no sociology, but two WORK units (WORK1001 and 1002 before they were combined). I am now strongly considering dropping my CLAW unit and doing the media sociology one

I'm doing New York, New York too, it looks really good, right. :)
Just ruled out A House Divided, because it looks like a lot of reading and I'm overloading.

The RLST unit looks decent, but it has a highly weighted speech, which I hate hate hate, the GCST is only two hours a week but sounds kind of wishy-washy and meh. This decision is killing me.

It looks awesome! Plus no exam, which is a bonus. Plus, a great lecturer. You can't really go wrong.

I just hope I have a great tutor for it.

What's RLST and which GCST were you considering doing? I think I might do a GCST at some point just to fill up some space.
