Only a very, very small number of voters want this material in Australia. Furthermore, no politician would put their name behind such material.
OH hai, circumventng the ban can result in a IP ban.
Also ~90% of Australian voters believe a R rating should be introduced to help with buying choices and allow Adults to play what they want.

As to the 90% figure, that in fact indicates that 90% of voters on a special interest gaming site want this material available to persons. If you took a poll of the entire population the support figure would be well below 0.05%. Please, boy, check your facts before posting.

It would be next to impossible to find a article that is not covered by a gaming website about the R18+ figures because it is only affecting the gaming community. If Australia was to ban MSG (food supplement) you wouldn find gamers getting pissy, it would be culinary chefs and takeout food franchises, if Australia was to ban V8 engines, it would be the car enthusiasts getting pissy.
So unless you can come up with a decent argument, along with proof and valid links, dont redicule us for ours.

Yeah, I just put up cause there re some people in games that don't visit NCAP.
The most interesting thing about this is rewinding on the internet censorship policy leaves a double standard, there is effectively no "for the children" argument against an R18+ rating. So either we get what we wanted, or Michael Atkinson is supporting a double standard which is a huge attacking point. Either way it is humiliating for him and adinfinium, comingupforair, ayatollah, sultun, wingstroke, soulus rex, omar-comin.
