I am, in a word, fucked

I got trials in two weeks, but basically i have done shit all, all year

So, what i'm getting at, is what is the best way to study?
I'm thinkin i got the basics covered, but i just need heaps and heaps of practice, doing questions and the like.
I haven't really done much of the textbook, which is partly the reason why i am fucked.

what should i do? is heaps of questions from textbooks a good idea? cambridge/excel etc ....
or should i do heaps of past hsc and trial papers?
see, i'm thinkin, textbook is good for covering all the concepts, but past papers can simulate exam questions and stuff

i've only got two weeks, i've got plenty of other subjects, among other things, so i can't be spending that much time on maths
if i do a bit of both, i won't be able to comprehensively do much

and its basically the same for 3 unit

Your best bet to study for the trials now is past papers, as many as you can fit in

you should:
Go through the concepts. don't spend too much time though.

Practice your algebra and Calculus - This is the real reason for most people doing badly.

Do some papers under exam conditions to see what problems you have and focus on these problems.

Why don't you just look at the past paper answers? Not just looking, but also trying to do it before hand. The part where you try to lock yourself in a strict exam conditions should be left to the last :)

I was in the same situation as you last year, and how i survived was an excel HSC extension 2 book. Ended up with a dissapointing 89 HSC mark..

just go through the concepts and learn the proofs, do some txtbk qs and then spend the rest of your time on papers. i find doing the past papers a lot more reassuring than doing repetitious questions from textbooks.

hmmm, ok ... so this is what i'm drawing from your comments or what i'm thinkin of doin

1) learn the concepts
2) do a bit of the textbook (i got cambridge, so i'll do the diagnostic tests at the end of each chapter, instead of each part) - that way i also do questions on each concept
3) heaps and heaps of past papers

no words can express my gratitude ...
oh wait, there are some words ...
thanks everyone

o yea, and this may help others ... i'm sure many are in the position of having done shit all work
