Hi, my friend is compiling a list of songs for a joint 18th birthday party and shes in need of some more songs.
To help, I want you to think back to your ickle pre pubescent life and remember the types of songs you listened to.
Songs which you can dance to and/or songs which make people go "omgz i rememba dis 1!"
Basically, just a list of classic 80s/90s songs which were popular and that you liked.
Thanks.

Spice Girls and Hanson not prohibited.

Buy Floorfillers, Housework Songs and Best ever beer songs, and you'll be alright.

I'm thinking:

Tubthumping (you're never gonna keep me down) - Chumbawumba
Anything by Spin Doctors, Aqua, Spice Girls, The Bangles etc.
Centrefold - J.Geils Band
Flashdance
5, 6, 7, 8 (was it by Steps)
You sexy thing - Hot Chocolate
Blame it on the boogie

etc.

even though ginuwine wasn't around in the 80's. pony is like 1996.

but yeah any party that plays 'karma chameleon' and 'girls just wanna have fun' 'because they are funny and silly' sucks, badly.

seriously, do you really want to play some done-to-death old songs that they play all the time in pubs anyway.

if u wanna play 'old school' stuff play the ones that arent being played 24/7 everywhere else.

like my suggestion. everyone will be like 'wtf. oh i remember this song from primary school!'

well seeing as this is basically the first 18th we've had we dont exactly visit pubs regularly. and most of my friends listen to the newest dance/house music or the soundwave lineup. so we dont really listen to the older stuff too often. but anyway this isnt the final list its just some songs that i can suggest.

thanks again for the response, thumbs up to all!
