a^2 is 2m, not m^2b<sup>2</sup>=a<sup>2</sup>(e<sup>2</sup> - 1)
so e<sup>2</sup> = (b<sup>2</sup>/a<sup>2</sup>) + 1
= 16/m<sup>2</sup> + 1
= (16 + m<sup>2</sup>)/m<sup>2</sup>
Well not really, seeing as we have a linear equation to sub into.wouldnt u also have to solve for cases in which a^2 = 16 and b^2 = m^2
as well as the other way round...
