i just found out that the excel mathematics 2004 is exactly and i mean exactly the same as the 1994 excel 2 unit maths and probably every maths excel from then on.
what a waste of $30 when the only difference is the colourful cover.:eek:

i dont think the 2 unit syllabus has changed drastically sinced the 80's, my teacher had a copy of the 80's syllabus it was all still applicable to todays syllabus, except just a few minor sub topics removed.

Maths (2, 3 and 4u) were tho only syllabi left basically untouched by the change to the New HSC.

What's wrong with Excel? I have the 3 unit Excel book, and it's great. The solutions could be a bit more elaborative at times, but it's generally a useful book.

And yes, Winston is correct. The syllabus has remained practically untouched over the past 2 decades.
