Could anyone give me some info/pics/whatever on the bedsitters accommodation at hawkesbury campus please?. i guess any other information about the campus in general wouldn't be so bad either

I'm heaps anxious about starting and I hate not knowing what it's like there lol.

This is general opinion from those I know residing at Hawkesbury.

Don't live in Potts, unless your an international student.

Don't live in the dorms/Halls, unless you don't like sleep and the drink.

Southee is a dorm with some students and members of the general public.

AB mainly consists of the outsides or people from the general public atm.

The bedsitters in the halls are pretty much two small narrow rooms connected by a door, which has been knocked out. Also the shared bathrooms are uni sex (will be converted soon) and can lack privacy.


I reccommend the Villas or Lodges. Welcome to UWS Residential Colleges

So the bedsitters aren't recommended? Lol, cause that's my first preference.

Do you know if they're seperated from the hall of residences or just part of the same building? and how many people are generally in the bedsitters?

Yeah, the villas were my second choice. I sorta know what to expect with them, cause I was in something similar when i was still at Bathurst.

Just thought I'd go for something new i guess.

i really wanted to live in the village but they can only offer me a room with 6 other ppl~~~ and its way too expensive (188 a week)

my friend stays on campus @ hawkesbury and she says theres a lovely possum that begs for food scraps. keep an eye out for him ok

I have possums like this at my house. They like bread and apple... one time, I was feeding a mumma possum and she was so distracted by food that she let me put my hand in her pouch and hold the baby possum.
